Vico Sotto's other career option

No, it's definitely not acting.

Some might think Vico Sotto would've been eager to follow in the footsteps of his parents Coney Reyes and Vic Sotto had he not been elected Pasig City Mayor.

But the popular public servant revealed he is more keen on pursuing a career as teacher.

In one of the Department of Education's (DepEd) Facebook live videos, Vico shared he was already teaching Social Science at Arellano University prior to entering politics.

"One sem lang yun kasi tumakbo na akong mayor. Kung hindi ako tumakbong mayor, tinuloy-tuloy ko yun. Isa talaga yun sa mga gusto kong gawin," he said.

Looking back, Vico said he now prefers teaching undergraduate college students.

He said in jest: "Hindi ako masyadong pasensyoso. Baka uminit ulo ko."

Note that the 32-year-old finished Political Science at the Ateneo de Manila University, going on to earn a Master's Degree in Public Management at the same.

Vico's win in 2019 was historical, as he became Metro Manila's youngest mayor.
