After three consecutive days when the daily number of cases surpassed 14,000, new infections dropped to 10,035 on the 11th day of the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) in Metro Manila.
But from the Department of Health (DOH) and OCTA Research Group, there are indications that the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) surge, said to be fueled by the Delta variant, is far from over.
Meanwhile, President Duterte announced the proposed P5.024-trillion national budget for 2022, from which social services would be getting the largest share.
