Happy Hallyu Day 5: A Virtual Fest (KCC) 

“Happy Hallyu Day” in the Philippines is turning five and a virtual fest will be held with different activities.

The “Happy Hallyu Day 5: A Virtual Fest” will be held online at 7 p.m. on Aug. 28 and 29 on the Philippine K-pop Convention Inc. (PKCI) Facebook page.

It will be celebrated with K-entertainment talks, K-pop performances, contests, games, and more together with PKCI and the Korean Cultural Center (KCC) in the Philippines.

Korean drama enthusiast Kristel Fulgar joins this year’s special guests and will share her passion for producing and directing her web drama “Love from Home.” K-pop Dance Diva Dasuri Choi will get you covered with her stories and tips as a performer. Survival show “Under Nineteen” participant C13 will take you on a journey as a Korean trainee and will perform his debut single “Stay.”

Happee Sy, well-known K-pop concert producer in the country, and Korean entertainment emcee Kring Kim will join forces to reminisce and spill things about K-pop concerts.

P-pop idols which debuted in 2021 will perform on the digital stage Press Hit Play will perform their debut single “Win” while BINI and BGYO are back to take on K-pop challenges, and burn the stage with K-pop songs and their debut single “Born to Win” and comeback song “The Baddest,” respectively.

A five-day “Countdown Special” will happen from Aug. 23 to 27 where participants can expect entertaining segments, Twitter parties and exclusive prizes every day from participating partners, affiliated K-pop fan clubs and guests.

K-pop fans Cherie & Mel will share their travel preparations, experiences and tips when watching K-concerts in a different country. Learn the choreography highlight of a hot K-pop song from dance coach Tank Bautista. Watch out for the special segment of some of the favorite local K-pop fan clubs: ATEEZ Philippines, BTS PH-Bangtan Boys Philippines, ENHYPEN Philippines, EXO Philippines, Stray Kids Philippines, THE BOYZ Philippines, Treasure Philippines and TXT Philippines special segments.

The event is presented by PKCI together with KCC Philippines, Korea Foundation for International Culture Exchange (KOFICE), Hallyu Com-On, Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, and PKCI’s affiliated K-pop fan clubs in partnership with Apop and Fanlife.
