Earlier, Steffi became controversial after some netizens claimed she’s a supporter of President Duterte when she made the newly built CCLEX her runway.
The Cebuana beauty queen neither denied nor admitted the claim of some pageant fanatics. Instead, Steffi encouraged the public to stop political divisiveness.
“Religion, gender, race, or even our political stance, shouldn’t divide us. Now is the time to set aside our differences, communicate, and work together as one. At the end of the day, we all have one goal anyway – to live in a better universe,” said Steffi on Instagram.
Kisses dominated the Headshot and Video Introduction challenges.
After the Runway Challenge, the 75 candidates will hurdle another test. From 75, the girls will be narrowed down to 50. The final cut will see 30 official candidates for the Miss Universe Philippines 2021 pageant.
The grand coronation of the Miss Universe Philippines contest will be held on Sept. 25.
