The Mandaluyong City local government said on Friday that they will investigate the supposed double COVID-19 vaccination of a fully vaccinated person using two different brands.

In a now deleted social media post, the man said that after he received his second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine in Mandaluyong on May 10, he also got another vaccine shot in Quezon City. The Sinovac vaccine was given to the man in Mandaluyong while the Moderna vaccine was used in his vaccination in Quezon City.
The man even posted #boostered after being inoculated with the Moderna vaccine and thanked some individuals for "helping him out".
"We are still trying to get in touch with the individual. We already asked the help of the barangay. Once we are able to talk to him, we will be able to get a better picture of the incident," Mandaluyong City Health Officer Dr. Alex Sta. Maria told Manila Bulletin.
"We have to hear his side. A thorough investigation will be done first before exploring any legal action," he added.
Mandaluyong City Mayor Menchie Abalos said that she would check the incident and the city's vaccination system.
