She has done a lot of sexy, titillating films in the past but Maui Taylor insists she will go no further than that.
Maui discussed the matter in a recent interview, relating to some celebrities doing so-called "private videos" for online clients.
Maui sees no problem with people going that route but she believes there are other ways to earn.
"Pwede naman tayo kumita ng hindi yung porn yung pinapasok natin. I mean, oo, na ta-typecast yung mga films (ko) sasabihin soft porn, porn. But you cannot classify that as that kasi wala namang penetration na nangyayari dito," she said.
She reiterated: "I could earn by doing something else."
In fact, Maui doesn't mind working in an office if need be.
"For me mas gagawin ko na lang yun kaysa pasukin ko yung porn industry. I think I would be happier feeding my family or my kids with clean money, not doing something like that. That's my opinion lang naman."
Note that Maui is to star in "69+1," a naughty comedy along with Rose Van Ginkel and Janno Gibbs.
It will be under the helm of controversial director Darryl Yap.
The movie is about lesbian couple Ivy (Maui) and Patricia (Rose) who agreed to allow a man into their relationship forming a throuple. The lucky guy? Apol (Janno), a photographer.
"69+1" will stream on VIVAMAX starting Sept. 3.
