Heads up, incoming Grade 7 Pisay scholars! Application for scholarship processed online

The Philippine Science High School (PSHS) System is accepting and processing applications online of incoming Grade 7 scholars for School Year (SY) 2022 to 2023.

The PSHS has announced that the application for PSHS Requirement for Admission, Criteria, and Evaluation (RACE) is now being conducted online.

“The Philippine Science High School System cares about the safety of its clients,” it wrote on Facebook on Friday, Aug. 6.

“The application for scholarship of incoming Grade 7 scholars for School Year 2022-2023 may be processed online through the website https://nce.pshs.edu.ph.”

The deadline for submission of application is as follows:

-October 22, 2021 for those applicants who were in private schools in Grade 5. The application fee is P300.

-October 29, 2021 for those applicants who were in public schools in Grade 5. The application fee is waived.

The PSHS said applicants must be a Grade 6 elementary pupil from a duly recognised school by the Department of Education (DepEd) and meet the following conditions:

-with a final grade of 85 percent or better in Science and Mathematics or in the upper 10 percent of their graduating class

-a Filipino citizen with no pending or approve application as immigrant to any foreign country

-must be 14 years old or younger before Academic Year 2022-2023 or by June 30, 2022

-with at least a satisfactory rating or its equivalent in his or her Character Rating in report card

-who have not previously applied for admission in PSHS

-preferably in good condition and fit to undergo a rigorous academic program
