The social amelioration fund (SAF), more commonly known as “ayuda”, has started to be downloaded to the local government units (LGUs) in Metro Manila, and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) would be keeping a close eye on the payout to beneficiaries next week.
Meanwhile, two storms outside the country are enhancing the southwest monsoon, or “habagat”, that has been causing rain showers in parts of Luzon, including Metro Manila.
The Manila city government is also set to start its 24/7 vaccination blitz during the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) on Sunday, August 8, 2021.
