Senator Aquilino Pimentel III on Wednesday, August 4 said the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) and the Philippine National Police (PNP) need to review its ‘’strict’’ rules to be followed during the August 6-20 Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) lockdowns in the National Capital Region (NCR).
Pimentel was reacting to reports quoting the PNP that ‘’Hatid-Sundo’’ (Drive-Fetch) for Authorized Persons Outside Residence (APOR) is not allowed during the ECQ.
‘’There are some doctors who render ‘duty’ for four consecutive days and need to be driven to and from workplace. Why make life more difficult for our frontliners?’’ he asked.
