CSC Central Office, 5 regional offices to adopt work-from-home arrangement during ECQ


The Civil Service Commission (CSC) Central Office in Batasan Hills, Quezon City, along with five regional offices will observe the work-from-home arrangement during the imposition of enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) from August 6 to 20.

The CSC announced this in a Facebook post on Tuesday, August 3.

The decision was made “In line with President Rodrigo Roa Duterte pronouncement of placing the National Capital Region under the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) due to the threat posed by the COVID-19 variant from August 6 to 20, 2021, and the City and Province of Iloilo, Cagayan de Oro City, and Gingoog City (Misamis Oriental) until August 7, 2021.”

“Offices in the CSC Central Office, CSC National Capital Region, CSC Regional Office IV Headquarter, CSC Regional Office VI, CSC Regional Office X, and CSC Field Office in Misamis Oriental shall observe the work from home arrangement (WFH) on the said period,” the CSC wrote on Facebook.

The CSC advised its clients to use online services from August 6 to 20.

Clients requesting for the services of the CSC Integrated Records Management Office (IRMO) and Office for Legal Affairs (OLA) were urged to continue transacting business online through the Online Registration, Appointment and Scheduling System (ORAS) at https://services.csc.gov.ph.

Meanwhile, it asked clients who are scheduled to be at the CSC Central Office to pick-up their requested documents from August 6 to 20 to wait for further advisory on the rescheduling of the pick-up of requested documents.

"Further, documents or printed communications, including mail deliveries from couriers and postal services, shall still be received through a Drop Box placed at the CSC Main Entrance. The CSC security guard on duty shall facilitate the recording of all documents submitted through the drop box and ensure the safety of said documents.”
