Bulacan administers 612,955 doses of COVID-19 vaccines

Governor Daniel R. Fernando said the Provincial Government of Bulacan (PGB) has already administered 612,955 doses of COVID-19 vaccines since its rollout on March 8.

Fernando said that out of the 612,955, 344,70 received their first dose while 268,215 are fully vaccinated.

He said the total number of doses of COVID-19 vaccines received by the PGB from the national government is 882,778 -- 497,838 are Sinovac; 189,540 are AstraZeneca; 81,900 are Pfizer; and 113,500 are Johnson & Johnson's Janssen.

Fernando said the total vaccines distributed at the vaccination sites were 202,709 for the 1st dose and 202,709 for the second dose, both of Sinovac; AstraZeneca -- 1st dose 96,110 and 2nd dose 93,430; Pfizer -- 40,950 for 1st dose and 40,914 for 2nd dose, and 113,500 for one dose of Janssen.

Meanwhile, the Provincial Health Office in Bulacan has reported that as of August 3, the province has recorded a total of 45,670 COVID-19 cases, 42,546 recoveries, and 2,180 or 5 percent active cases. Of the 2180 active cases, 276 are admitted in hospitals, 86 in Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facilities, while 1,818 are under home isolation.

Four additional deaths were recorded, bringing the total number of COVID-19-related fatalities to 944.
