Aguilar is also reminding the residents to report immediately to the City Health Office (CHO) once they have symptoms of COVID-19 so they could be given proper attention.

She said the city government is also constantly posting in its official Facebook page the health protocols that should be followed to prevent the spread of the virus.

The mayor also asked the residents to register at the city government’s “Ligtas na Las Piñero, Lahat Bakunado” vaccination program to protect themselves from any harm brought about by the virus.

Aguilar ordered the CHO to strictly implement the prevent, detect, isolate, treatment and reintegration (DPITR) plus vaccination program to keep Las Pineros free from the virus.

She said persons with symptoms of COVID-19 must give their true identities to the CHO or immediately ask the intervention of health experts once they have exposure to COVID-19 patients.

The mayor said that hospitals in the city were also asked to upgrade their bed capacity and to increase their logistical needs at their isolation facilities such as oxygen and medical supplies in preparation for possible surge of Delta variant in the city.
