The CSC had announced that they will accept entries until July 30.

“Government workers may still submit entries to the Civil Service Commission’s (CSC) Online Photography Contest until 5 p.m. of August 13, 2021,”the Commission said in a statement.

The CSC said the entry should adhere to the contest theme, “Pagtugon ng Lingkod Bayani sa Patuloy na Hamon ng Pandemya”.

The contest aims to highlight through images the various ways our country’s civil servants or ‘lingkod bayani’ have risen to the challenges brought about by the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.

“Photo entries will be assessed on content and adherence to the theme, visual impact, creativity and originality, and photograph quality,” the Commission said.

All government workers regardless of employment status except employees of the CSC including their relatives up to second degree of affinity or consanguinity may join the contest, which is part of the Commission’s 121st Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA) celebration in September.

The complete mechanics and guidelines may be accessed via www.csc.gov.ph/pcsa2021.

The CSC will hold the virtual recognition ceremony for regional and national winners on Sept. 22, 2021.

Aside from receiving cash prizes, winners will have their work featured on the CSC website, www.csc.gov.ph, and official Facebook Page, www.facebook.com/civilservicegovph, the Commission said.
