Bataan PDRRMO denies casualties in massive floods

BALANGA, Bataan – The Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) here denied report of casualties during the massive flooding that inundated the province, Friday, July 30, due to monsoon rains.

Contrary to a report, the drowning of a 13-year-old girl from Barangay San Simon in Dinalupihan last July 27 was not due to the natural disaster.

The victim went swimming last Tuesday, July 27, where she apparently drowned. Her body was recovered last Thursday, two days after she went missing.
