The government should take notice of what’s been happening in coronavirus disease (COVID-19) hotspots like Indonesia and Thailand, according to the OCTA Research Group, which added the government should consider imposing a stricter quarantine on the National Capital Region (NCR) where an increase in the number of infections and incidence of the Delta variant has been reported.

Meanwhile, the government clarified that it will not restrict the movement of unvaccinated individuals yet, contrary to a declaration made by President Duterte in his Talk to the People Wednesday night.
