11 more Robinsons malls to host voter registration


Good news to those planning to register for the May 2022 polls.

The Commission on Elections (Comelec) on Wednesday, July 28, released the updated list of Robinsons malls that will hold mall voter registration activities as well as their respective schedules.

Here are the additional malls that will set up voter registration booths: Robinsons Magnolia (August 30), Robinsons Place Dasmariñas (July 24, August 7, 14, 21 & 28, September 4, 11, 18 & 25), Summit Ridge Tagaytay (July 31), Robinsons Angeles (July 31, August 7, 14, 21 & 28), Robinsons Starmills Pampanga (September 17-18, 20-25 & 27-30), Robinsons Place Palawan (August 6-7 & 13-14, September 3-4 & 10-11), Robinsons Place Tuguegarao (July 31, August 7), Robinsons Place Tacloban (August 7 & 14), Robinsons North Tacloban (August 21 & 28), Robinsons Place Roxas (July 28-30), and Robinsons Place Antique (August 16-20).

Earlier, the poll body announced the schedule of voter registration in Robinsons Place Malolos (July 30-31), Robinsons Place Ormoc (July 17 & 24), Robinsons Place Santiago (July 30-31), and Robinsons Place Tagum (August 6-7), Robinsons Novaliches (Aug 20 & Sept 18), Robinsons Galleria Cebu (Sept 27-30), Robinsons Place Iligan (Sept 1-15), and Robinsons Place Valencia (Sept 1-30), Robinsons Place GenSan (August 2-6), Robinsons Cybergate Cebu (Sept 1, 18, 25), Robinsons Place Lipa (July 16-17, 23-24, 30-31 & Aug 6-7, 13-17), and Robinsons Otis (July 31, August 7, 14, 21 & 28), Robinsons Place Dumaguete (July 17), Robinsons Place Bacolod (Aug 20-21), Robinsons Place Manila (August 21 & 28), and Robinsons Place Imus (August 4).

The Comelec, however, said that only applications from residents of the locality where the mall is located, or from those intending to transfer their registration record to the locality, will be accommodated.

It added that there will be limited number of slots available in consideration of the prevailing mall hours and strict adherence to health protocols.

The Comelec said application forms are available for free at the booths and may also be downloaded at comelec.gov.ph, or accomplished online at irehistro.comelec.gov.ph.

"For application forms filled out via the mobile app, just present the QR code," it said.

The Comelec also reminded voter applicants to bring at least one valid ID and their own ballpen.
