Another batch of delegates from Israel arrived in the country Monday, July 26, to share their experiences and best practices on their coronavirus disease (COVID-19) Response Operations, especially on clinical management.
In a statement, the Department of Health (DOH) said the Israeli clinical experts, who will be spending a five-day visit to the country, will be sharing their current local clinical guidelines for COVID-19, infection control protocols, hospital management, and other practices.
“The DOH is excited to hear from our Israeli delegates the learnings and experiences they have gained from their battle against COVID-19. We are looking forward to building upon our partnership, our efforts in one accord, for our mutual desire to save lives, and promote better health outcomes for Filipinos,” said Health Secretary Francisco T. Duque III.
The government has a series of activities lined up for the delegates so they can observe the country’s COVID-19 response.
The Health department said the Israeli delegates would also present their recommendations to improve the country’s clinical management of COVID-19 cases.
“This visit from the Israeli delegates is an opportune time to learn from the best practices of Israel on their clinical management of COVID-19 cases. Of course, we would also like to share some of our best practices when it comes to the clinical management of COVID-19 to our visitors. These exchanges are crucial if we want to beat COVID-19. We must remember that none of us is safe until all of us are safe,” said Undersecretary of Health and treatment czar Leopold Vega.
The national government is strengthening partnership with different countries and experts from around the world to further improve execution of the country’s COVID-19 response.
