Pageant veteran Dindi Pajares of Orani, Bataan has been chosen to represent the Philippines at the Miss Supranational beauty pageant in Poland on Aug. 21.
The announcement was made by Arnold Vegafria, national director of Miss World Philippines, this afternoon, July 24.
Pajares earned the right to represent the Philippines in the international competition after she topped the polls participated in by the candidates and MWP officials.
Other girls who made the shortlist were Kathleen Paton, Megan Deen Campbell and Ruffa Nava.
The Miss World Philippines 2021 grand finals was scheduled on July 25. However, due to the rising cases of COVID-19 in the country, the coronation night has been reset at Okada Manila on Aug. 8.
Dindi, 28, will leave for Poland on Aug. 3.
Mutya Johanna Datul is the first Filipino beauty queen to win Miss Supranational in 2013.
