The virtual event dubbed “A Toast to Success: Book Launching” will be held on July 27 at 1 p.m. via the DOST-TAPI Facebook page at www.facebook.com/DOST.TAPI.

The books were produced by the DOST-TAPI’s Invention Development Division and the Investment and Business Operations Division.

These include “Freedom to Operate Manual”, “Intellectual Property Valuation Manual”, “Compilation of DOST IP Policies”, “Onward: Compilation of DOST Technologies", and "Made Lokal".

“The books feature the compilation of DOST technologies, success stories of technology adoption, and IP rights and policies,” the DOST-TAPI said in a Facebook post.

“These books are valuable reference materials to ensure the protection of technologies and encourage the adoption of Filipino-made innovations,” it added.

The DOST-TAPI said the publication of the “Freedom to Operate Manual” and “Intellectual Property Valuation Manual” was made possible through the “Support to the Commercialization of 500 DOST-Generated Technologies and Strengthening the Country’s IP and Technology Portfolios” or DOST 500.

The Institute said the book launch is open to the public, especially to research and development institutions, students and teachers, entrepreneurs, adopters, and technology generators.

To know more about the DOST-TAPI publications, interested parties were urged to attend the Week-Long Accomplishment and Culminating Activity of Special Projects from July 26-30 via the DOST-TAPI Facebook Page at www.facebook.com/DOST.TAPI.
