Is this about Dani Barretto's viral interview? Kier Legaspi shares cryptic post

Kier Legaspi

Actor Kier Legaspi has recently posted a cryptic post.

In there, Kier talked about how he's trying to take "all the punches and lies."

"Let's see how you would feel if I tell my side of the story. Game?," he asked.

Prior, he wrote: "Magpainterview kaya ako para yung side ko naman ang marinig."

Although no name was mentioned, netizens are convinced it's about the statement of his daughter with Marjorie Barretto, Dani.

Recall that the 27-year-old vlogger talked about her relationship with her 48-year-old estranged father during an interview with Dr. Vicki Belo.

Note that it's no secret that Dani has bad blood with Kier.

In fact, the actor was not invited to his daughter's wedding in 2019 after revealing that they're not on speaking terms.

During a recent interview, Dani admitted he spoke to Kier in 2020 after seven years.

"I called him. I was very emotional. I knew he was just there. I wanted my daughter to know him," she said. "I don't want my daughter to grow up na what if she asks me about my dad, wala ako masagot because I don't know what's happening in his life."

Dani shared that she didn't even have Kier's number that she had to ask it from her grandmother.

"I called him and we spoke. We kept trying to plan to see each other but because of COVID hindi kami matuluy-tuloy."

In the same interview, Dani recalled her early memories with Kier.

"I don't think I actually celebrated a birthday with my dad. Growing up, that was actually a major frustration for me. Kasi siyempre, when you have friends, you see them at birthday parties, tapos may cake blowing, tapos complete family pag may birthday," she said. "I didn't have that growing up. It wasn't naman much of a bubog."

"We had a relationship naman. I have memories of him. Hindi naman total nothing. I do have naman good and bad memories," she added.

Then, she talked about how their falling-out started.

According to her, she extended to get to know her father, whom she doesn't see much.

"Because I knew he was just around. I knew na hindi naman siya OFW. He's just within my reach. But when I got older and I had more freedom to reach out to him, I did, I tried," she said.

In fact, at one point, Dani actually lived with him for three months when she was 19.

"It was a very dark phase in my life. At that time, I wanted to get to know him. I wanted a different point of view," she related. "I lived with my mom all my life, I wanted to try to know my dad, so I lived with him."

"We had fun. Dun ko nakilala dad ko. We had a relationship. I have great memories of him. But naudlot siya, e. After three months, dun kami nagka-falling out."

She said, a fight occurred one night.

"And then, hindi na namin na-resurrect from that night. We just stopped talking after that night. Then it has been seven years."

Dani, on the other hand, noted how she was a "very hard child to raise."

She even deemed her old self as a "prodigal daughter."

"Lagi ako naglalayas. Ako yung very confused in life. Laging may issue sa school, issue sa life, issue sa friends. So, my mom really had a hard time with me. I gave her so much problems, kaya kapag may hinihingi yung mom ko, 'Okay, mom, I'll give it.'"
