In a Facebook post on Monday, the DOST said TechPerfect will be held during the weeklong Accomplishment and Culminating Activity of Special Projects from July 26-30. It is one of the activities under the Technology Transfer Day Project being implemented by the DOST-TAPI.

TechPerfect, the DOST said, serves “as a venue for negotiations where a company or business entity expressed their interest in any of the presented technologies in the hope that initial agreements between parties are signed.”

The initiative was launched in 2020 as a virtual event where technology generators pitched their technologies to target industries for possible adoption.

The event then was dubbed “TechPerfect: Finding the Right Match for your Business” that was conducted online, the DOST said.

Under TechPerfect, industry participants are divided into four clusters and are introduced to technologies in quality healthcare, agricultural productivity, micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME) competitiveness, and information and technology (IT) development and disaster resilience.

The DOST noted in December 2020, one term sheet for a quality healthcare technology was signed during the breakout session.

It said for this year, a total of 39 technologies have been promoted for commercial adoption.
