Go: Duterte has many unfinished business to attend to if he becomes VP

President Duterte has so many unfinished business and could still contribute to the development of the country should he run and win as vice president, Senator Christopher ‘’Bong’’ Go on Monday, July 19 said.

Go said it would be foolish for anyone who runs with Duterte in a president/vice president tandem and wins but would eventually give way for Duterte to become president again.

He emphasized that people would judge ‘’as this is democracy where people vote and choose who will be President and Vice President.’’

The president’s men, including Senator Ronald dela Rosa, said a Duterte vice presidency means continuity of his programs.

The six-year tenure of President Duterte ends in mid-June 2022.

He reiterated his oft-repeated denial of having no ambitions to run for the presidency.

Anyway such a scenario is just a ‘’guni-guni’’ (figment of imagination), he added.
