BTS’ Jimin, 2PM’s Junho, BTS’ V, Astro’s Cha Eun-woo and BTS’ Jungkook copped the first five places in the latest brand reputation rankings for individual K-pop boy band members for July 2021.
The Korea Corporate Research Institute released the rankings based on an analysis of 92.47 million pieces of big data from 632 boy band members from June 17 to July 17, a slight increase of 0.79 percent from 91.75 million in June 2021.
The boy band members were ranked based on their scores in consumer participation, media exposure, communication and community indices.
BTS member Jimin ranked first, his 31st straight month to be No. 1 on the list, with a total score of 5.77 million for July, down by 10.04 percent compared to his first-place score of 6.41 million in June.
2PM’s Junho rose to second place from third last month with a score of 4.53 million, up by 21.18 percent from 3.74 million last month.
In third place is BTS’ V who got a brand reputation score of 4.5 million, up from 4.48 million last month although his ranking slid from second to third place.
Astro’s Cha Eun-woo rose to fourth from fifth place this month with a score of 4.35 million, an increase of 36.8 percent from last month’s 3.18 million.
BTS’ Jungkook placed fifth in July from fourth last month, scoring 4.15 million, up by 14.8 percent from 3.62 million last month.
