It all started when Clarisse Jao, an elementary school teacher, was riding a motorcycle and was flagged down by a young, fine-looking policeman at a checkpoint on April 23, 2018 in Marikina City.
Everything went well as teacher Clarisse, who was single at that time, had with her whatever requirements needed for driving a motorcycle. Little did she know the encounter with that checkpoint’s policeman, Mohammad Amir Cruz Saddaramil, would lead to her finding the man of her dreams.
"Na meet ko siya sa ‘Oplan Sita’ dahil nga nagmomotor din ako then ayun hinanap niya name ko sa Facebook, hindi ko akalain tinandaan niya talaga pangalan ko. Laking gulat ko nung ni-add niya ako sa Facebook syempre ako din naman natuwa,” was what teacher Clarisse posted on their Facebook Page Oplan Sinta Fam.
Teacher Clarisse admits that initially, she had qualms about meeting that police officer since she had this not-so-good impression about policemen.
“Tingin ko nung una sa mga pulis mayayabang, ganon. Kaya binalak ko sana mag taray nung unang kita namin,” said Teacher Clarisse when contacted by the Manila Bulletin.

The couple got married January 8, 2019 but their story has gone viral just this week, a case of netizens probably wanting to find stories that would inspire their lives, particularly in terms of finding a partner for life while we are still in the middle of the pandemic.
“Ang isang aspect na nakita ko sa kanya kaya ako nagdecide magpakasal is sobrang mapagmahal niya, as in,” added Teacher Clarisse.
To some, marrying someone from the police force comes with a lot of questions, specifically to a woman who is set to commit a lifetime relationship with a policeman.
“Wala naman sa akin kung ano ang work niya, ang akin lang ay nakita ko kung paano siya magmahal ng tapat. Hindi naman lahat ng pulis mayabang pala. Akala ko lang siguro,” said Teacher Clarisse who is now carrying her husband’s surname.
Mr. & Mrs. Saddaramil are currently living in Antipolo, Rizal where both are blessed with a baby girl.
