Popular Mobile Legends: Bang Bang streamer Elyson "GHOST Wrecker" Caranza has turned pro as RSG Philippines revealed him as one of its players in the upcoming MPL Philippines Season 8.
Wrecker, known for his trash talking antics on his mostly 1v1 streams, joined MPL-PH veterans EJ "Heath" Esperanza, Kenneth Jiane "Kenji" Villa (both from Smart Omega) and Christian "Iy4knu" Manaog (from Onic PH) in the squad backed by the Singapore-based esports organization.
Also in the lineup are Dexter "Exort" Martinez (former Nexplay Esports player) and Arvie "Aqua" Calderon (Cignal Ultra).
Rounding out the new team are amateur standouts John Cedrix “Demonkite” Caranto (JNA Esports), Nathanael “Nathzz” Estrologo (Work Aerial PH) and Eman ‘EMANN’ Sangco (Amihan Esports).
One-time MPL champion coach and SEA Games gold winning tactician Brian "Panda" Lim is rumored to be at the helm of RSG PH.
RSG, which has teams in MPL Malaysia and MPL Singapore as well as squads in various esports titles, will look to make waves in its debut in the Philippine esports scene.
RSG PH will battle it out for MPL-PH supremacy against Blacklist International, Bren Esports, Onic PH, Nexplay EVOS, Echo and TNC Pro Team in the eight-team league that will begin on August 13.
