Flying electric car innovator Kyxz Mendiola achieved another milestone by breaking an existing Guinness record.

Mendiola broke a farthest hoverboard flight by travelling 2,894 meters Saturday, July 10, at the beach front of Subic Bay in Zambales.

Mendiola is currently working on the country’s first-ever flying e-car known as the Electric Manned Aerial Vehicle (EMAV).

For his latest feat, the Filipino inventor surpassed the record of 2,252 meters set by French jet skier Franky Zapata which he achieved atop a Flyboard Air powered by jet engine propulsion last April 2016 off the coast of Sausset-les-Pins, South of France.

Mendiola used the Star 8 Green Technology Corp.'s (Star 8) Flying Electric Hoverboard (e-Hoverboard) in surpassing the record.
