Paranaque City halts first dose vaccination; second dose continues

The Paranaque City government has announced the temporary suspension of the first dose vaccination on Monday, July 5, but the second dose vaccination will continued on Tuesday, July 6.

Mayor Edwin Olivarez said the vaccination for the first dose will be temporarily suspended and will resume once the vaccine supply has been replenished.

The scheduled vaccination of Sinovac will proceed at SM BF, SM Sucat, and Ayala Malls in Manila Bay.

He said the second dose vaccination is exclusively for patients who have received their first dose on June 7 and 8 and for those who missed their vaccination for the second dose with minimum interval of 28 days.

The mayor advised residents to bring their vaccine information passbook at the vaccination site to show proof that they have scheduled vaccinations.

Olivarez told residents they may also check their names on the listed patients due for the second dose vaccination posted by the Public Information Office (PIO) under Mar Jimenez in its Facebook page.

He said patients not included in the list of registrants posted by the PIO and are due for the second dose vaccination may also proceed to the nearest vaccination site.
