This technology was developed from the demands of off-road racing to hold tires securely in place despite requiring lower tire pressure for additional traction. Method Race Wheels with Bead Grip have been tested to hold tires securely in place with as little as 10 PSI all without the use of a mechanical beadlock ring, a first in automotive wheel engineering. Bead Grip’s reduced weight over a traditional beadlock wheel allows for less strain on vehicle drivetrain while simultaneously unleashing more available horsepower to the driver. Bead Grip products by Method Race Wheels are also safe for on-road vehicles, a departure from traditional beadlock wheels which are off-road use only and require regular maintenance.
