Rubiano ordered PESO to discuss with Serge Ortiz Luis Jr., lead convenor of Sulong Pasay, the ways to enhance the employability of 100 Pasay youth through skills training required by various industries.

She said the trainees will receive stipend of not less than 75% of the prevailing minimum wage in the National Capital Region during their training at business establishments for a minimum of three months.

Pasay PESO is seeking the help of Sulong Pasay’s convenors in finding jobs for qualified city residents who lost employment during the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.

The convenors of Sulong Pasay are composed of prominent members of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI), Employers Confederation of the Philippines (ECOP), and Philippine Exporters Confederation (PhilExport).
