1,209 seniors vaccinated vs COVID-19 in Dasmarinas, Cavite mega vax site

DASMARIÑAS, Cavite - The city government opened its coronavirus disease (COVID-19) vaccination mega site in Ugnayang La Salle (ULS), the biggest sports and event venue in De La Salle University-Dasmariñas (DLSU-D) on Saturday (June 26).

During the mass vaccination program, 1,209 senior citizens received their first dose of the Pfizer vaccine.

Mayor Jenny Austria-Barzaga, a nurse by profession, administered a number of vaccines along with the medical staff and volunteers of the City Health Office.

Aside from the mega-site at ULS, the city has eight other vaccination sites. The city government continues to encourage its residents to register for COVID-19 vaccinations to help curb the spread of the virus.
