A report from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) said suspects Bashir Rajikalias Jam and Basaron Rajikat negotiated with undercover agents to sell one kilo of shabu.
While negotiations were ongoing, the suspects sensed the presence of authorities and escaped on board a motorized vessel, leaving a pack of illegal drugs behind.
Authorities said one kilo of shabu with an estimated street value of P6.8 million was confiscated during the operation.
The drugs were placed inside a bag for a commercial tea product labeled Guanyinwang.
The suspects are facing drug-related charges but remain at-large.
