Metro Manila is not yet out of the woods with the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) continuing to pose a serious threat, while the Delta variant of the virus could stymie the government’s push to achieve herd immunity before Christmas.
Doubts have also been cast on COVID-19 vaccines Pfizer and Moderna for alleged side effects, which the government have set aside in favor of the benefits they provide.
