‘This great recognition of Fundador Supremo is also a milestone in the history of Brandy de Jerez… We are managing to raise the Brandy category to its highest level.’

World’s iconic and best brandy Fundador with 300 years of rich and deep Spanish brandy heritage has just bagged the Platinum Award for Fundador Supremo 18 Year Old at the recently concluded 2021 San Francisco World Spirits Competition (SFWSC). Now in its 21st year, SFWSC is the second oldest spirits competition in the world as well as the oldest and largest spirits competition in the US. It is certainly one of the world’s most prestigious spirits competitions whose judges have decades of industry experience. Platinum is a rare award and a most sought-after accolade. It is an award given to very few entries that have previously received a Double Gold medal for three consecutive years.

Fundador Supremo 18YO’s Platinum award solidifies its world-class brandy ranking. It was awarded the best brandy in the world at the International Wine & Spirits Competition (IWSC) in 2019.

“This great recognition of Fundador Supremo is also a milestone in the history of Brandy de Jerez. Thanks to the effort, teamwork, and constant commitment of all of us who are part of Fundador, we are managing to raise the Brandy category to its highest level,” says Ángel Piña, chief commercial and marketing officer of Grupo Emperador Spain.
