Now comes yet another threat to the people’s health – the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) Delta Plus variant.

Detected in India, Delta Plus is said to be more transmissible and potent compared to the Delta variant.

The danger this new variant possesses could lead to even tighter measures, perhaps more than an official of the Philippine Genome Center has asked the government to implement.
