Las Piñas City Mayor Imelda Aguilar announced on Wednesday that five offices of the city government were given safety seal certifications on Tuesday (June 22) for their compliance with the health and safety protocols against the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
Aguilar said the offices that were given the safety seal stamps by the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Inspection and Certification Team were the Mayor’s Office, City Planning Office, Business Permit and Licensing Office, Office of the City Treasurer, and Human Resource Management Office.
She said DILG City Director Mary Ann Planas led the stamping of the safety seal certification on the five city offices assisted by City Administrator Reynaldo Balagulan and Public Information chief Paul San Miguel.
The mayor said other city government offices will also be awarded with the safety seal certification.
Aguilar urged the other offices at the city hall to make their areas of work conducive and safe for transacting residents by following the standard health protocols.
She said the safety seal stamp guarantees adherence to the prescribed sanitation, cleanliness standards, and safety and health protocols.
