How Bea Alonzo disposed of excess pounds

Many are complaining how they’ve gained a lot of weight during the pandemic.

Some point to lack of work having pushed them towards idle loafing as with excessive eating.

Actress Bea Alonzo actually shared the same problem.

Early this year, she revealed via her vlog how she actually gained 15 to 20 pounds following the onset of the pandemic all because she just can’t stop eating.

Eventually, she lost her desire to exercise as well.

“I was kind of exercising pero hindi gaya ng workouts ko before,” she related.

Unlike others, Bea didn’t sulk.

She vowed to get rid of the excess pounds and “to lead a healthier life.”

And she did.

Just recently, she shared her progress with fans, noting how she already 15 pounds since January.

Bea shared, “Hindi ko alam kung halata ninyo, but halata ko dahil sa mga damit ko…”

Bea is not concerned that people might think her progress slow or she doesn’t look as fit as she might think.

She said, “I am not the epitome of fitness but I want to do it properly and I feel good, I feel better about myself…”

“And I am proud of that. I am proud that I have lost 15 pounds the healthy way.”

But how did she do it?

Well, according to Bea it’s all about patience, sacrifice, hard work, dedication.

A certified foodie, Bea did away with tasty but fattening meals, enlisting the help of nutritionist, Ian Matthew.

The night owl also changed her sleeping habits.

“I’m trying to get eight hours of sleep every day. I also try to drink lots of water…” 

Bea then transformed her entertainment room into a gym.

She would go on to hire trainer Jay Garcia, working out twice a day, four to five times a week. 

“I’m just sharing this thinking na baka makatulong din sa inyo,” she said.
