Young Kapuso stars share favorite memories with their dads

Now more than ever is the time we find great appreciation for each day that we get to spend with our loved ones. This pandemic has made us realize the beauty in the little things and how precious every moment can be to be taken for granted.

These young Kapuso artists took a trip down memory lane as they shared their favorite moments with their dads in a heartwarming tribute this Father’s Day.

Angela Alarcon

Angela Alarcon: My ultimate unforgettable and favorite memory with my dad was when I was around 9-years old: I had my first ever extreme rollercoaster ride, the Space Shuttle, in Enchanted Kingdom. It was funny because none of the kids were into it as they were all scared except me. It was an adult ride after all, but I was allowed because of my height. It’s truly a memorable experience because I rode it with my dad and it was just the two of us. Even at such a young age, being with him at that moment made me feel brave and fearless to face anything this world has to offer.

Royce Cabrera

Zonia Mejia

Zonia Mejia: Nag-stay kami sa Manila ng kami lang dalawa kasi nasa Baguio pa noon sina Mama. Then, nagbebenta kami ng mga tinapay sa mga tindahan.

Therese Malvar

Therese Malvar: There are a lot of memories with my father that I hold dearly but I would always remember the time when he made a speech for me during my debut. He was my last dance but before we danced he held the mic and talked about how I will forever be his baby girl. Everyone including my dad and I were crying. He even cried while we were dancing! Such a soft moment.

Sophia Senoron

Sophia Senoron: My dad is a big Lakers fan and that is how I got my love for basketball and sports in general. My favorite memories with him are watching Lakers games on TV together.

Radson Flores

Radson Flores: My favorite moment with my father was when we went overseas for a business trip and together we experienced a completely different set of culture, food, and people. It's one of my dreams to travel overseas and tour historically rich countries with my loved ones so we could appreciate them together.

Allen Ansay

Allen Ansay: Ang best memory ko kay Tatay ay noong StarStruck days kasi hindi ko talaga inakala na nandun siya. Ang turo sakin ni Tatay ay laging maging humble at maging totoo sa sarili ko.

Cheers to all the fathers and the father figures who are present in our lives to teach us to be better people and who make our lives more meaningful and bearable.
