Actress-turned-beauty contestant Emmanuelle Vera never had any surgery done to enhance her physical appearance.
This she said during an interview on Kenyong ETC's vlog.
“I’ve been getting this question a lot. My team and my goal with the looks naman, entering this (pageant) was transformation,” said she about her participation in the upcoming Miss World Philippines 2021 pageant.
“When we’re looking for a makeup artist, when my mentor was instructing me to lose weight and to diet, our goal was transformation.”
She actually wanted to show a different side to her being a humanitarian.
"I desire to be a humanitarian talaga. So, I haven’t really shown that because I’ve done all my volunteer work in private since I was young,” the trainee from Kagandahang Flores pageant camp said.
“People think that I did it with enhancement, with surgery. I just want to clarify that I did not get any plastic surgery," she reiterated.
According to Emmanuelle, her weight loss was pretty drastic and that changed a lot.
“My nose is very, very real. I promise you, guys. I got it from my mama,” she added in jest.
Though she admitted to trying non-surgical procedures.
"I’m always getting different skincare treatment, machinery, machines, and whatever else na non-surgical. But as for surgery, you will know talaga when I get it," the actress said. “My doors are not close to it. But sa ngayon, walang time and budget. And it’s just not a priority for me."
