The Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) stamped a safety seal on the Pasay City Hall on Monday (June 14) for its compliance with the health and safety protocols against the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
The safety seal was stamped by DILG City Director Gloria Aguhar and was witnessed by Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano and city hall officials.
Rubiano said the safety seal stamp guarantees adherence to the prescribed sanitation, cleanliness standards, and safety and health protocols.
She said that as the economy slowly rebounds after more than a year, the assurance of safety is very much needed.
“Lalo na dito sa City Hall, tuloy-tuloy ang pagpunta ng ating mga mamamayan kaya tama lang na masiguro na ang ating City Hall ay ligtas dahil in place ang mga safety measures laban sa COVID-19 (Here at the City Hall, which is frequently visited by people, it is necessary that we make it safe and all the safety measures are in place against COVID-19),” Rubiano said.
The city government launched on June 11 one-stop-shops in the different malls around the city for the businesses in the city to apply for the safety seal certification.
The booths are located at SM Mall of Asia, Resorts World, WMall, Metropoint Mall, and Victory Mall.
