As expected, the 2.28 million Pfizer vaccines arrived Thursday night, June 10, 2021, to the relief of Philippine officials, who had to contend with delays in the delivery of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) vaccines badly needed to boost the vaccination rollout of the government.

This developed as the state weather agency said that scattered rains showers and thunderstorms are expected in parts of Luzon.
