1 killed, 6 nabbed P1 M shabu, marijuana seized in Bulacan drug stings


A drug pusher was shot dead, six others were arrested, and an estimated P1 million worth of shabu and marijuana were seized in a series of buy bust operations conducted by the Bulacan police early Friday morning.

Provincial police director Col. Lawrence B. Cajipe said the series of drug stings were conducted by the operatives of the Station Drug Enforcement Units (SDEU) of the City of San Jose del Monte, Sta Maria, and Marilao police.

The operations resulted in the confiscation of 105 grams of shabu and 3 kilograms of marijuana bricks and the apprehension of six suspects.

The arrested suspects were identified as Michael Mendoza of Brgy. Poblacion, Santa Maria; Vhen Symond Olfindo of Brgy. Lias, Marilao, who is included in the drug watch list; Gerry De Guzman from Quiapo, Manila; Kristian Licudine alias "Chan

Chan," Nicolas Umayam alias "Tisoy," and Kenneth Sibal, all from Brgy Narra, City of San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan.

A drug pusher identified as Albert Caldito alias "Itnol" of Brgy Tabon, Pulilan Bulacan was killed during a drug sting operation conducted by the drug operatives of San Miguel police in Brgy. Batasan Bata, San Miguel, Bulacan.

Seized from the suspect were six heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected shabu; 1 cal. 38 Smith and Wesson without serial number; assorted drug paraphernalia, 1 black Honda Beat Motorcycle without plate number; and buy-bust money.
