Sangalang has high praises for 'The Apprentice' co-finalist Ramella

Filipino bet Louie Sangalang has nothing but high praises for Venezuelan co-finalist as "The Apprentice" is set to enter its final episode.

Being in the finals is just one of the many reasons why Sangalang is not underestimating Ramella when they clash for the last time despite mentioning a loophole on her "operation" side.

At the end of the day, the former mixed martial arts champion believes that Ramella deserved to be in the finals.

"I think Jess is a competent candidate. I think she is a capable candidate. She is one of the more capable candidates in the competition. She, I think, has played the game for the competition really well for her to earn a spot in the finals," said the 43-year-old Sangalang.

"So, in terms of my assessment, working with her, I think that she has very, very good presentation and sales skills. So definitely, she's really good to look at and she sounds really good. And that is a plus, when you're trying to win over the judges, there's also a plus in communicating your message, especially if you're trying to reach out to an audience that doesn't know what you're talking about."

And if there is one thing that Sangalang has prepared heading into the finals, that is to expect nothing.

"I remember my boss, that's one of my mentors, saying this, 'You never expect because if you expect, you get hurt.' You never expect, you just hope for the best," added Sangalang, who was also a cancer survivor and a finisher of the North Pole marathon.

Sangalang and Ramella used to become business partners but they need to go separate ways as the "toughest Apprentice" nears its finale.

Previously, the tandem teamed up and came up with a mobile application and a chatbot that aims to help cancer-diagnosed children through non-profit support organization LOVE, NILS.

From being the dynamic duo to the finals rivals, the two will vie for the label "The One," who will serve as the protege of ONE Championship CEO Chatri Sityodtong and the company's chief of staff.
