Manila Mayor Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso said those belonging to the A4 Priority Group should only show their company ID to get the COVID-19 vaccine.
Mayors in Metro Manila and the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases have agreed that those who are working should present their company IDs to be included in the A4 category.
"In the case of categorization, kapag A4, napagkasunduan namin ng mga mayors, yan si Mayor Toby (Tiangco) at iba pang mayors, including the IATF, sinimplify lang yung category (We agreed to simplify the A4 category). Just show your ID tto prove that you're working and that's it, you'll be considered A4," Domagoso said in an interview with ANC on Monday (May 31).
Those working from home are also included under the A4 priority group as long as they can present their company IDs.
Those belonging to the A4 Priority Group now include the following:
- Private sector workers required to be physically present at their designated workplace outside their residences
- Employees in government agencies and instrumentalities, including government-owned and controlled corporations (GOCCs), and local government units (LGUs)
- Informal sector workers and self-employed who may be required to work outside their residences, and those working in private households
The national government aims to start vaccinating those belonging to A4 and A5 categories this month. (With a report from Argyll Cyrus Geducos)
