6 nabbed, more than P1-M shabu seized in Bulacan drug busts

Police arrested six suspected illegal drug peddlers and seized more than P1 million worth of shabu in separate buy-bust operations in the city of San Jose Del Monte and City of Malolos in Bulacan on Monday.

Col. Lawrence B. Cajipe, Bulacan police director, identified the four suspects who were nabbed in Barangay Muzon, San Jose Del Monte, as Dennis Perez, Irene Torda, Ronald Bunetipo, and David Martin.

Cajipe said that 14 sachets of shabu weighing 205 grams with an estimated value of P1,394,000 were seized from the suspects.

Meanwhile, two other drug suspects -- Pete Paul Javier and Dan Anthony Dimagiba -- were apprehended during an entrapment conducted by the operatives of Bulacan Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU) in Barangay Mojon, Malolos.

Fourteen small plastic sachets of suspected shabu amounting to P13,600 were recovered from the duo.
