Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso expressed his gratitude to all Manilenos who are now vaccinated against the deadly virus.

"Nakaka-proud din po talaga kasi kayo mismo ay nagkukusa at nagpupunta. Sana pag may dumating na bagong bakuna magpabakuna ulit kayo (I'm also really proud because you are taking the initiative to get inoculated. Hopefully when a new vaccine arrives, you will submit yourself for vaccination again)," Domagoso.

There's no scheduled vaccination for tomorrow (May 30) as there are no vaccines left after today's (May 29) vaccination rollout.

The local chief executive said that it's a good thing that the city ran out of vaccine supply because the people really want to be vaccinated against COVID-19.

In today's deployment of COVID-19 vaccine, a total of 14,558 individuals from A2, A3 and A4 priority groups received their first dose while 6,571 individuals from A1 to A4 priority groups got their second dose.

A total of 80,008 individuals have already received their second dose while 187,819 individuals got their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine as of 6:15 p.m. on Saturday (May 29).

Domagoso also reminded the public that the most effective vaccine is the available vaccine.
