Filipino bet Louie Sangalang now in Final Two of 'The Apprentice'

Filipino bet Louie Sangalang is one step closer to being called "The One."

Sangalang barged in the Final Two along with Venezuelan contender Jessica Ramella, who was her duo for the business challenge, as Episode 11 concluded with double elimination.

It was a tight competition as the Sangalang-Ramella pitched in community support for children diagnosed with cancer in partnership with LOVE, NILS while Monica Millington and Irina Chadsey came up with an improved donor communication strategy for housing alongside Habitat for Humanity Singapore.

Sangalang's sharing of his experience as a cancer survivor also opened up a personal connection for the pitch.

As both pairs had a fair share of pros and cons with their proposals, it wasn't an easy decision for ONE CEO and founder Chatri Sityodtong to pick the Final Two.

In the boardroom deliberation, Sityodtong had to ask a crucial question: Why do you deserve to be my Chief of Staff?

With different principles in mind, Sangalang and Ramella were left as the better choice for the ONE Championship honcho, eliminating Millington and Chadsey in the process.

Earlier, the four finalists were treated to a shopping spree, a live ONE Championship event at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, and a fancy dinner by no less than the ONE chief Sityodtong, who now has an estimated net worth of $350 million.

More challenges await Sangalang and Ramella as two more episodes are left with the "toughest" version of the hit reality television series.

“The One” is set to be named as the protege of Sityodtong and the organization's chief of staff.
