At the media launch of her latest endorsement for Dr. Coco recently, Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach gave advice to newly-crowned Miss Universe Andrea Meza of Mexico.
“Many people may tell her ‘live the moment’ but what I told her in my private message to her was ‘back up your files, make sure, save all your moments and memories and invest in a good camera! Let's give her a chance, let's give the newly crowned queens a chance to introduce themselves and prove that they deserve the crown. Let's give them a chance. I'm excited for Andrea, and I mean that," Pia said.
The German-Filipino beauty queen also gave a message for our very own Rabiya Mateo who finished in the top 21 of the 69th Miss Universe Competition.
“Take your time. I know what you feel, alam ko masakit, but you’re not going through this alone. You are already a star and like the symbol of sun that you represent, you will shine even further," Pia told Rabiya.
Pia also said that she is proud to support locally-made products that are world-class like Dr. Coco hand soap.
“Dr. Coco is one of my best discoveries. I have been an avid user ever since I opened my first bottle. The moment you dispense the product on your hands, you will really notice the difference. From one beauty queen to another. Binibining Pilipinas Tourism 2013 Cindy Miranda finally got her first big break in the upcoming Viva production of the sexy drama thriller “Nerissa."
Cindy said that she prayed for this moment to finally come.
“Beauty is not enough. I need to prove that I have the skills as an actress,” Cindy said. Joining her in the project are Elizabeth Oropesa, Bembol Roco, Sheree, AJ Raval, Guji Lorenzana and Sean de Guzman.
The movie is written by Ricky Lee. It will be directed by Lawrence Fajardo. Fajardo said that the role of Nerissa, a lovely maiden stranded on an island, was tailored for Miranda who exudes the right element of beauty and aura of mystery in the movie to be released by VivaMax. Before “Nerissa,'' Cindy co-starred in films like “Adan,” “Maria,” “No Boyfriend Since Birth,” and “Ang Pambansang Third Wheel."

Other winners were Bonifacio Mengullo, Rosario, Cavite, 1st runner-up; Rolando Pablo, Navotas, 2nd runner-up; Rolando Casipit, Luna, La Union, 3rd runner-up; and Armando Bibat, Calamba, Laguna, 4th runner-up. The awarding ceremony was held at the Sobel Hotel in Caloocan City.
