In an interview with DZMM Teleradyo on Thursday, Mandaluyong Police Chief Col. Gauvin Mel Unos said they will specifically look into those who have access to the list of people who will undergo vaccination.

“Di pwedeng mag prosper ang ganito without the help of other people (Things like this will not prosper without the help of other people),” Unos said.

Suspect Kyle Bonifacio, who surrendered to Mandaluyong Cty Mayor Menchie Abalos on Wednesday, had earlier insisted that he had no contact with anyone from any local government unit (LGU).

Unos confirmed that Bonifacio has “no direct connection” to persons involved in the vaccination but has friends who had an “informant” on the rollout.

The city police chief said they have already invited the staff of the local government for an interview on the scheme.

Asked if Bonifacio might be connected with the same scheme in San Juan, Unos said: “There is a possibility na kasama sila dito kasi online yung naging transaction nila (that they are also involved there since their transaction was online).”

Bonifacio has been turned over to the Philippine National Police-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (PNP-CIDG) for further investigation.
