Davao City bettor is 4th millionaire this month after bagging P181.6-M Megalotto 6/45 jackpot


The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) on Thursday, May 27, announced that a bettor from Davao City in Davao del Sur won the P181.6-million jackpot prize for the Megalotto 6/45.

PCSO, in a Facebook post, said that the winner guessed the winning combination 23-43-29-32-36-04 during the draw on Wednesday night, May 26.

The winning ticket bagged the jackpot prize amounting to P181,680,185.60.

PCSO is conducting 6/45 Megalotto draws three times a week every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Based on the summary issued by PCSO, there are also 47 second prize winners to receive P32,000 each.

“Prizes above P10,000.00 are subject to 20% tax pursuant to TRAIN Law,” PCSO said.

“Prizes not claimed by the public within one year from date of draw shall be considered forfeited,” it added - citing the “PCSO Charter” or Republic Act No. 1169.

The latest winner is the fourth millionaire this month of May based on the announcements made by the PCSO.

PCSO said that a ticket bought in Abucay, Bataan won the P29.7-million Grand Lotto 6/55 jackpot with the winning combination of 13-01-50-10-51-54 during the draw on May 15.

Two bettors - one from Iriga City, Camarines Sur and one from Davao City, Davao del Sur - also bagged the P101.3-million jackpot prize for the Lotto 6/42 which was drawn on May 8, PCSO added.
