Are you the next Miss Trans Global Philippines?

Miss Trans Global Philippines is now looking for candidates who can represent the country and advocate for transgender rights in the Miss Trans Global 2021 pageant.

Win as much as P30,000 locally and get the chance to be crowned Miss Trans Global 2021, with prizes worth more than $5,000.

"Join the first ever international and purely digital transgender pageant in history. Born out of the need to connect with and strengthen the trans community, the Miss Trans Global Organization prides itself on being the future of trans pageantry — where anyone with intelligence, creativity and purpose can win," said reigning Miss Trans Global Mela Franco Habijan on Facebook on May 26.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Identifies as a transgender woman (pre-op, post-op, non-op, may or may not have transitioned)- Filipino citizen (may or may not be residing in the PH)- 18 years old and above (no age cap)- Ready to advocate for transgender rights - Fluent in English and/or Filipino- Open to all body sizes, races, spiritualities and sexualities.

HOW TO APPLY

1. Create a 2-minute video answering the following questions:- What is your name? What city/province do you represent? What do you do? Who is your trans role model?- How do you advocate for transgender rights?- Why should you be Miss Trans Global Philippines 2021? 2. Express and dress yourself in the best way that represents you.3. Send video + portrait + full body photo to [email protected]. 3. Follow email subject format: MTG PH 2021 Application - “Name”

The deadline for application is on Saturday, May 29, at 12 noon.

The finalists will be announced on May 30 and pageant night will be on June 6.
